Forthcoming speaking engagements

 

Alister McGrath is in demand to speak at conferences throughout the world on a regular basis. What follows are details of some conferences at which he is scheduled to speak that are open to the general public. In some cases, there is a conference fee that needs to be paid, in others, admission is free. As much information is given as possible to allow you to confirm the necessary details, often in the form of web links to the conference organizers.

18-20 May: lectures in Seoul, Korea. Sunday 18, 19.30 hours: preaching at Kwanglim Church. Monday 19, 16.00 , Methodist Theological Seminary, meeting of the Korean Church History Society and the Korean Wesley Society: "A Comparative Study between John Calvin's Spirituality and John Wesley's Spirituality". May 20, 13.00, Methodist Theological Seminary: "A Theological Response to the 'God Delusion': A Dialogue between Science and Religion". 14.00: "An Anglican perspective on the spirituality of John Wesley." Seoul Theological University, 16:30: "An Anglican perspective on the spirituality of John Wesley."

23-25 June, Oxford University. "Beyond Paley: Renewing the Vision for Natural Theology". For details of this major international interdisciplinary conference, see here.

27 July, New Wine Conference, Royal Bath & West Showground, Shepton Mallet. Two seminars. Details to be confirmed.

2-4 September, lecture tour of Iceland, including lectures at the University of Iceland and Skalholt. Further details will be provided as they are arranged.
